Who We Are
Founded in 1937
EMANS is a recognized and highly respected name in the mining industry. EMANS was organized by the first graduates of BS Mining Engineering in Mapua Institute of Technology in 1937. The association was called Mining Engineers Association. In 1955, the organization became a fraternity and was called the Epsilon Mu Alpha Fraternity. In 2022, the fraternity became Epsilon Mu Alpha Association, Inc. (EMA Inc Association) and is now registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Philippines. We have over 150 active members residing in the Philippines and around the world.

Through friendship, leadership, and service, EMANS find men and women in Mining, Geology, Metallurgy and other allied fields with impeccable character and helps them achieve their full potential. It is the organization’s aim to let these men and women rise up to face every challenge placed before them—today and in the future. We help each other by setting great examples to one another to be a committed and loyal member of the organization. We aspire to be great examples of our generation.
